Page Bertelsen is best known for insightful documentary portraiture and stunning visual storytelling. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, having lived in New York City, where she completed the professional certificate program at the International Center of Photography, and in Santa Fe where she worked with the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. With over twelve years of professional experience, Page is increasingly sought after in the Bay Area for her intimate, artistic, and journalistic coverage of weddings, events, and celebrations. Having grown up among the hills of Northern California, she became fascinated by the integration of light and landscapes at an early age. Originally trained in negative film capture and darkroom processing and printing, she now uses a combination of negative film and digital cameras.
Other than photographing, Page feels truly excited and inspired by trail running, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, and generally being outside around rivers, trees, and mountain scapes.
Page Bertelsen Photography has been featured in Professional Photographer Magazine, Brides Magazine, Marin Magazine, Southern Weddings Magazine, Photo District News Magazine, Ceremony Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Style, Snippet & Ink, Carats and Cake, Project Wedding, and Ruffled.
